The McIlwain Civil Engineering Quality System has been designed to improve not only project deliverables but business operations. The system assists in controlling all documents, cost minimisation, traceability and overall project quality.

The Quality system has a direct effect (by controlling the method and processes) on the Safety and Environmental Management System.

The Quality System is currently second party (Qld Government Purchasing) and third Party (TQCSI) certified against ISO9001:2008. The system has been certified since 2006 and has been developed extensively to accommodate the increased technical nature of our projects including engineering structures, larger Qld Government projects and detailed excavations and drainage packages.

By using the Quality Management System effectively McIlwain Civil is able to capture accurate inspection and test information throughout the project and provide our clients with verifiable and accurate quality documentation including test certificates and as constructed records. The management of subcontractors performance is also greatly enhanced through the utilisation of the quality system.
