Metcash Trading limited Australasia (Metcash) is a leading marketing and distribution company operating in the food and other fast moving comsumer goods categories.

It has three Business Divisions, -IGA Distribution, Campbells Cash & Carry and Australian Liquor Marketers. The expansion of its Crestmead warehouse required the importing of 90,000m3 of fill over a three month period to create the building platform.

The use of GPS  and Laser Levelling Systems made the operation much more efficient and the project was then extended to include the placement of gravel as well as the civil  infrastructure works for Buildcorp Queensland (the Builder)

The overall project duration was approximately 12 months with Mcilwain Civil required to complete a corporate carpark, drainage works, pavements, earthworks and other associated civil infrastructure works.
