Cedar Ridge Estate is a 148 Lot Staged Residential Development in Redbank Plains 20 mins South West of Brisbane. Stage 1 required the subdivision of approximately 3 ha of land for residential development which was successfully completed in December 2006.

Stages 2 & 3 were awarded to Mcllwain Civil off the back of a strong relationship established during the construction of the first stage. Stages 2 & 3 comprised the remaining 99 lots of the subdivision and were completed within the contract timeframe of 26 weeks.

As Principal Contractors, McIlwain Civil were required to complete all facets of the subdivision including bulk earthworks, drainage, road-works, retaining structures and services. The project was made more challenging with the land incorporating an easement which contained the Santos high pressure oil pipeline.

Stage 1 left McIlwain Civil with substantial learning's which ensured that the multiple crossings of the pipeline required for stages 2 & 3 were carried out safely and efficiently.
